Father, this morning I ask You to be with our leaders—with all of our leaders, regardless of their beliefs or political affiliation, whether I agree with their work or not.

Lord, I give You thanks and praise You, today and all the days of my life. I thank You for the abundant blessings with which You have showered me, and I am sorry for the times when I strayed from Your teachings.

Lord, this morning I pray that I may do everything according to Your will. It may be difficult for me to understand all that I am going through right now, but I know that through Your light, someday, I will see everything fall into place.

Jesus, may I be generous in praying for my enemies today, as You were with the pharisees and the soldiers who put You to death. Help me to entrust both my friends and my enemies to Your Divine Mercy, knowing that You are the just and merciful judge.

Lord, this morning I ask that you would destroy the power of the enemy over my life. Cut out his evil power through my sacrifice of praise. I humbly ask that You turn my attitude into one of faith in You and joyful contentment in my current circumstances.

Lord, my shepherd help me to be a beacon today to those who have fallen away from Your light and drifted into darkness. May I be an instrument of encouragement and peace to the members of Your flock who have lost their way, and who search longingly for the comfort of Your welcoming arms.

Jesus, grant me the grace this morning to trust in You and submit my whole self to You, as you submitted Yourself to the Father. May I do this all the days of my life, and especially at the hour of my death.

Dear Lord, You humbly embraced humanity in Your mission on earth. Rebuke me any time I complain or try to compare myself to others. I pray that You will give me Your heart of humility and gratitude in all that I encounter in my life.

Lord, this morning give my tongue words of encouragement and support, though I am afraid. Let me offer my ears to listen without judgement, for You alone can judge.
