Lord, You know my longing to be near You and bear Your fruit. No one but You can satisfy this thirst in me. I try to find meaning in my life on my own, but my efforts are futile. All my activities, my goals, my work, and my friends can’t quench my desire for the things You really want for me. Just as You gave the Samaritan woman a drink from the fountain of living water by the well (John 4: 7-15), I ask You, dear Jesus, to give me the same.
