Morning Prayer for Today – I Submit To You

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the gift of a new day.

Forgive me for being too busy to fully recognize all you’ve given me and all you’ve been to me.

Lord, help me always focus on you.

Help me remember that you alone are God.

In James 4:7, you said:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

I choose to surrender entirely to you today. I give you the first place in my heart.

Help me to walk in your wisdom.

King Jesus, I pray for your divine protection over my life, my family, and every other believer.

I ask for your mighty hand to cover me and distance me from the evil works of the enemy.

Protect me from pain, Lord, cover me from diseases, and help me to always have peace in knowing that you are able in every situation.

I love you, Lord. In Jesus’ name,
