Morning Prayer for Today – Shine Your Light In Me

Almighty God,

I come to you to thank you for the precious gift of a new day and new opportunities in front of me.

I give you all the glory and honor for everything you do in my life daily, even when I don’t seem to understand your ways.

Lord, shine your light in us, and through us, in every undertaking, I get involved in.

Help me to make a difference in this world, all to the glory of your holy name.

Set your way before me, Lord, so I may act according to your will.

Thank you because your ways and thoughts are greater than mine. Thank you because I am victorious by your righteous hand, no matter the situation.

Lord, help me to focus on you clearly and to press close to you to hear your whispers and seek your face alone.

Thank you, Lord, because you love me and your loving kindness abides in me forever.
