Morning Prayer for Today – I Am Willing, Jesus!

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this day; full of faith and hope in your unfailing love and compassion.

Today Jesus, I am inspired by your actions presented in Matthew 8, 1-4:

When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.

Father, I pray that I may be like the leper who came to you with faith, asking for your divine healing.

Lord, you healed him and gave him rest from his disease through love and compassion.

Like the leper, I come before you with the same faith in your healing power and mercy.

Heal my body Lord, neutralize every sickness and pain in me, crush every weakness, melt away every uncertainty and light my path with your victory.

Lord, I shall always be grateful for all the love you show me.

You have unconditionally extended your loving hand to me and freed me from my sins through the ultimate sacrifice at Calvary.

Be glorified forever, Lord.
