Morning Prayer For Today – Jesus, Let Me Be Your Light

Dear Jesus, according to Your holy will, I woke up this morning to a new day that You made for me.

Today, Your words from the Gospel of John 14:6 especially appeal to me:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

May my desire to be with You, live with You and work with You grow in me.

May the awareness that You alone are the only way, truth, and life be strengthened in me.

May I share Your love, Lord Jesus, in this new day with everyone you send on my way.

Fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I will radiate Your peace and Your light of life because You said:

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 8:12

Thank You, Lord!
