You may be asking yourself: “What were the impact of Jesus, first miracle, and His entire ministry to mankind?” Jesus, having been born of a virgin, came to the world to save man from the bondage of sin.

Through the Bible journey, we learn of the great works of Jesus, and His divine authority as manifested in Galilee.

What was Jesus first miracle?

The Bible documents that there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee in which Mary, Jesus, and his disciples were invited. In the course of the wedding party, the guests ran out of wine.

There are more than 5,000 promises in the Bible.

Mary, the mother of Jesus alerted Him about the lack of wine since she was confident that through Him, a solution would come forth. True to her faith, Jesus asked servants to fill jars with water. He then asked them to take some of it to the master of the feast and upon tasting, was surprised at the wine’s good quality.

What Lessons Do We Learn From Jesus, First Miracle, And The Manifestation Of His Divine Authority?

Below listed are a few things we can learn from the divine intervention during the wedding at Cana in Galilee and how the lessons can help you in your daily life:

  1. 1. The Bride And Bridegroom Invited Jesus To Their Wedding Ceremony

Why was Jesus in attendance? The answer lies in John 2:2 which states that:

“Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.”

John 2:2

It is important to note that Jesus was invited to the feast. He did the very first miracle because He got an invitation to be part of the important event in the lives of the wedding couple. This miracle eventually saved the day and covered the couple from shame.

Jesus First Miracle

If you desire change in your life or your back is against the wall, you need to call on Jesus. You need to open your heart and invite Him. If you expect Him to take charge of your life and make changes, then the right thing to do is to invite Him into your life.

2. A Solution To The Wine Problem Was Asked From Jesus

In your life, always inform Jesus of what you need. Tell Him of your predicament and the burdens that are pulling you down and He shall surely give you rest.

In the book of John, the Bible states:

“And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.”

John 2:3

After Jesus was informed by His mother about the lack of wine, he gave instructions and within no time quality wine was available much to the amazement of those invited. How many times have you felt like God didn’t provide what you needed?

DO YOU WANT TO BE NOTIFIED?

When we publish something new, you will be the first one to know about it.

Have you taken the time to ask Jesus to supply you with what you need? Do not keep silent in your situation. Ask and it shall be given unto you.

3. The Works Of Jesus Always Surpass Human Understanding

Jesus gave a simple instruction for all jars to be filled with water. From that action, better quality wine was distributed all to the surprise of those attending the wedding.

Upon tasting the wine that Jesus made, the master of the feast told the bridegroom that every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when guests are well drunk, then the lesser quality wine is shared out.

This shows that the master of the feast was pleasantly surprised. The bridegroom equally in surprise had no idea of what had transpired. By Jesus acting, the whole situation was saved and everyone ended up satisfied.

Invite Jesus And Allow Him To Rewrite Your Story

Through Jesus, first miracle and the impact His ministry has had on humanity, you will agree that His works always surpass our human expectations.

Whether it’s about your health, marriage, or serving Him in ministry, all you have to do is invite Him in your life, ask Him to help you in your issues, and fully believe in Him. Only He can do what no man can do.
