Morning Prayer for Today – I Am Safe With You

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the new morning and this new beautiful new day.

I place my trust and dependence on you, Lord, because no one has ever trusted you and got disappointed.

As I am reading Psalm 9:10:

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Psalm 9:10

Like the great army commander, you are in control of my life and always go to any length to protect those under your wing.

I pray that you replace my fear with the confident assurance that you are always with me, protecting me from harm and guiding me to directions that glorify your name.

Kind David wrote in Psalm 55:

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

Psalm 55

So, my God, I cast all my burdens unto you and fully trust in your authority, for I know that I’m fully safe by your name. Always!
