Morning Prayer for Today – You Are My Hope

Dear Lord,

This morning I pray that you deliver me from my distress and all of my transgressions.

Be pleased, o Lord, to deliver and refine me.

Help me, for you are my only hope. You are my help and deliverer.

In Psalm 50, 14-15, you have said,

“Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

Psalm 50, 14-15

I claim that promise today, my father.

You know what’s happening in my life at the moment.

You know all my struggles and pain.

You know the webs of worry spinning in my mind.

Lead me not into temptation but deliver me from evil.

For Your is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.

In Jesus’ name,
