Morning Prayer for Today – I Love You, Lord

My Dear Lord,

Thank you for this beautiful new day and all the new opportunities waiting for me.

Jesus, today I am reading from Luke 9:43-45:

While they were all amazed at his every deed,
Jesus said to his disciples,
“Pay attention to what I am telling you.
The Son of Man is to be handed over to men.”
But they did not understand this saying;
its meaning was hidden from them
so that they should not understand it,
and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.

Lord, I give you all the glory and honor for sheltering me from all enemy snares and evil attacks and planting your word of faith in my life.

Lord, I can confidently say that by your stripes, I’m healed.

Everyone in affliction is healed, and your light shines.

Take charge, redeemer, hold us with your steadfast hand, destroy every yoke of the enemy, and plant in us the thirst to seek more of you.

Father, I pray for those affected by war, those affected by floods, lack of meals, lack of shelter, diseases, and hopelessness.

I love you, Jesus, and I bless your Holy name.
