Standing on the Promises of God in Times of Hardships and Difficulties

Standing on the promises of God is the key to surviving hardships and difficulties. There are times when we go through so many challenges that we feel hopeless in our lives. We feel lost and broken by the problems that we go through.

But since the beginning, God has always tried to reach out to us. God has always shown light and comfort through His promises. When you are going through difficult times, remember these God promise quotes:

Do Not Worry

God said: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

In this quote, God reminds you not to worry. You may feel down and abandoned right now, but He asks you to pray to Him. He instructs you to present your request to Him, like a child running to her father for help.

Present your request to Him. He tells you that even though the situation you are going through right now may seem hopeless, you can stand on God’s promise that He will bless your heart and mind with peace, through Christ Jesus.

The human ways are limited, and God’s ways are beyond our understanding. In times of hardships and difficulties, pray and ask God for help.

God Keeps His Promises

In the Bible, God said:

do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you”

Isaiah 41:10

Remember the story of Daniel and the lions?

Daniel was put in a cage with the lions, but these hungry lions never ate him. He was at peace because he knows that God will help him. The God who helped him is the God who promises to help and strengthen you too.

When you are fearful about your family, work, or future, God tells you that it will be okay. In this quote, He promises that you can survive the troubles you face because He will help you the way He helped Daniel, and as sure as the rising of the sun, God keeps His promises.

His promises bring assurance and comfort:

“For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

Isaiah 41:13

Like a father who loves His child, God will protect you. Do not be afraid. He will not abandon you; He will even hold your hand.

Call on God

In the book of Psalms, you can find a verse where God says,

Call upon me in times of trouble; I will rescue you, and you shall glorify me.”

Psalm 50:15
Standing on the promises of God

God is a loving Father who promised to rescue us in times of trouble.

Are you having a difficult time? Are you burdened by all the hardships in your life? Call God. He is only a prayer away.

In times of hardships and difficulties, breath, and pour your heart out to God. He will wipe your tears.

Standing on the Promises of God

Smile. Everything will be alright. Remember these God promise quotes.

You may not understand everything that is going around you, but you can definitely be standing on the promises of God and remain unshaken, for God keeps His promises. He is Almighty, but He loves you more than anything.
